Each therapist at Middlesex Counselling Services works to their own individual policy, offering their own contracts. Procedure and policy are discussed at the into initial meeting that takes place between you and the counsellor.
We ask that you give us 24 hours clear notice in the event of a session being cancelled.
We understand that from time to time it will be necessary to re-schedule or change the booked session.
Less than 24 hours notice requires the full fee of the session being paid.
At your first session we will ask you to make an advance payment of one sessions fees. This is then kept in the event of a session being missed or less than 24 hours notice being given.
We ask you to bear in mind that the time and day agreed between you and the counsellor / therapist has been specifically allotted for you and for this reason will not be able to be made available to another person requiring a session at that specific time and day.
The session missed or cancelled then becomes dormant.
